Want Luxury, But Can't Afford A BMW? Try These 3 Cheap Alternatives

 What is luxury, exactly? I understand performance. There are 0-60 times, horsepower numbers, torque outputs, etc... However, how is one supposed to determine a "Luxury car" from just a "Nice, comfortable car". I have no idea. Anyway, let's get into it. 

2022 Honda Civic - $21K

The Honda Civic has always been the go-to car for those who want value, practicality, and even some performance. Now, the refreshed 2022 Civic brings gorgeous looks and an incredibly upscale interior into the mix. If the old Civic was great, the new one is absolutely exceptional, and a no-brainer purchase, especially at $21K, a remarkable bargain.

 2020 KIA Telluride - $31K

Come to think of it, these cars could also  just as easily go on a list of the best cars of 2021, period. The Civic and the Telluride are so excellent, anyone who tells you to buy a different sedan or SUV probably works for Toyota. The outstanding Telluride has recently taken the world by storm, as it is possibly the best SUV ever, and that's not an overstatement. It looks stunning with white leather, but there are several other trim levels, all with equally impressive interior materials. I rarely recommend a vehicle so highly, but if you have $31K, you won't regret spending it on the SUV with exceptional drive, engine, tech, interior and exterior design, spaciousness, value, and reliability that you won't find on anything else. 

Jaguar XE - $39K

By far the most striking-looking car you can get for less than $40K, the Jaguar XE is a heck of a sports sedan, and is one of few cars you can get that don't attach compromises to the word "Sport". Probably one of my top 5 favorite cars, the striking XE packs 380 horsepower, and sprints to 60 in only 4.7 seconds. Another interesting thing is that despite its impressive performance, the Jag can go 400 miles on a full tank, which is significantly better than competitors, such as the Alfa Giula (360) or the Mercedes-Benz CLA (351). All things considered, the XE is a super competent car, and delivers on everything a Jaguar should do, which is no mean feat, by the way.
