What Is The Artura, McLaren's New Hybrid Supercar?

The McLaren Artura is a brand new sports car by McLaren that fits in their "LT" or "Longtail" series. It has a V6, paired with electric motors that churn out a massive 671 hp. Though the styling is very similar to that of the 560S, 600Lt, 650S, and others, underneath the skin is a totally new creature. By sacrificing the V8, they were able to create an engine that weighs only 353 pounds, over 100 pounds lighter than the customary engine found in most McLarens. The Artura sprints to a 205 mph top speed, while accelerating to 60 mph to under 3 seconds, all of which comes in a car that McLaren claims to be its most fuel efficient car ever. One thing McLaren swears by is that the Artura has a higher build quality than its predecessors, which were criticized for their iffy materials. Another thing they focused on is making it an easier supercar to live with. All things considered, McLaren are taking a big step in the right direction with the Artura.
