3 Starter Cars to Consider

 STARTER CARS:

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

NISSAN KICKS:

Full-disclaimer: I, a 17 yr. old, have done much research, compared alternatives, and have reached a conclusion: the Kicks will be my first car. It is full to the brim with value, and has won praise from trusted auto magazines such as Motor Trend. As one of their panelists points out: "Man, cheap cars have become so much better" and said: "The Kicks is hard not to recommend". You and me both, buddy. The Nissan Kicks starts at around $17K, a remarkable bargain. It looks the part of something much pricier. Do your research, it will lead you back to the Kicks.

KIA SOUL:

I've told you about the Nissan Kicks, how amazing it is, but the Kia Soul is just as good, maybe even better in some areas. Kia gets a bad rap for previous quality issues, but they have made major changes to how they do things, and the Soul, along with the terrific Telluride, Rio, K5, and Sorento all show quality throughout. The Soul pictured is the Electric version, which comes in at 29,000, but the one I recommend is the base Soul, which is so cheap, at 16K, you can't help but wonder the catch. There is none. The Kia Soul is an excellent car, earning stellar reviews from critics, one of which who says: "The Kia Soul proves you don't have to spend a fortune to drive something distinctive". If you don't have the money for your dream Audi, the Kia Soul will more than suffice. It's fun drive and useful features will immediately make you feel guilty for ripping the heck off of Kia.

KIA RIO:

Motor Trend magazine rated the quirky little Rio it's #1 subcompact sedan. It also included the tiny Kia in it's finalist round of Car Of The Year (COTY), while saying: "Among subcompacts, the Kia Rio is uncommonly refined" and claiming it's a "Good choice". It has flaws, such as the underpowered engine and anonymous styling, but overall the Kia Rio is another homerun from the on-form Kia brand. It comes in at the low price of $15,850, with an astounding 9/10 rating from Kelley Blue Book. It's definitely one to consider.
